Foreword

This code is formulated by China Information Technology Designing and Consulting Institute Co.，Ltd.according to the requirements of Document Jian Biao〔2008〕No.105 issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development-"Notice of Printing and Distributing the Development and Revision Plan（Second pitch）of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2008".

During the formation of this code，the formation team has studied lots of the current national laws，regulations and standards，made relevant investigations，summarized years of experience on the design of lightning protection and earthing engineering for Telecommunication Bureaus（Stations），repeatedly discussed and modified provisions of this code and finalized the code after examination based on solicit opinions from all sides.

This code comprises 9 chapters and 7 appendixes with the main contents as follows：general provisions，terms，basic requirements，the lightning protection and earthing of comprehensive telecommunication building，the lightning protection and earthing of cable telecommunication bureaus（stations），the lightning protection and earthing of mobile telecommunication base station，the lightning protection and earthing of small telecommunication station，the lightning protection and earthing of microwave and satellite ear stations and the design of lightning over-voltage protection for telecommunication bureaus（stations）and so on.

The provision（s）printed in bold type is（are）compulsory one（ones）and must be enforced strictly.
